Description: The personal web site of Boerries Burkhardt features the White Pass & Yukon Railroad. The narrow gauge railroad operates from Skagway, AK to the capital of the Yukon, Whitehorse. The site is a must see for historians as well as modelers. Today the WP&YR is a summer operating tourist line. But before 1982, the WP&YR was a full 24 hours working narrow gauge with up to 100 car trains behind 2 to 5 engines.
