Bay Area Garden Railway Society BAGRS was formed in 1988 to promote the garden railway hobby in the Bay Area. From approximately 30 charter members and 15 garden railroads the society grown to over 500 members and over 350 garden railroads.

Carl Brummer's Garden Railroad Has two garden railroads, the Pogoshock Creek RR, which is a 7/8th scale railroad representing 2 ft narrow gauge with about 300 feet of track and the Runion creek RR, which is a 1/2 in scale railroad representing 3 ft narrow gauge with about 250 feet of track.

Dry Gulch & Rocky River Railroad A fictions railroad, one that might have operated around the turn of the century to about 1940. This is basically a steam railroad using Shay's as motive power with 10 wheelers, an Atlantic and a Galloping Goose.
