Description: West Side Lumber Co. was an HO scale (1/87) modular model railroad club, from Rochester, Minnesota. Our layout was loosely based on the now defunct logging company from which we take our name. Rather than portraying the California prototype in exacting detail, we attempted to capture the feel of a logging railroad that could be located anywhere from the Michigan Upper Peninsula to northern California.
