free-lanced shortline railroad set in Central Illinois in the mid -1980's. It resembles the area once served by the Chicago & Illinois Midland.The major towns are fictional, but reflect the small town feel of Central and Southern Illinois.

The Credit Valley railway was a shortline that operated in the area I grew up in. However it operated back in 1870-1890. I am attempting to recreate the feel of the era and location in N scale.
