Railroad seeks support of city to better serve CIE

A representative of a railroad company Tuesday asked Canton City Council to join the company in asking the state to fund the reinstallation of a rail crossing on Route 78, so the company can access its north-south line and use the crossing to serve the ethanol plant south of Canton, which hopefully will be operating soon.
